I've been playing guitar forever and have been aggressively working on bass for the past five years and am now playing bass almost exclusively. I've played all kinds of stuff from classic rock, pop, disco, to current and praise and worship. I do backup vocals and some harmonica. I have an impeccable work ethic, pro gear and transpo. I have a passion for covering songs in detail to honor the original performance. Strong sound production and recording engineering (I design and build my own speaker systems, know how to run PA, do live recordings, etc.). I also dabble in web development. I've played with top bands in Austin, Portland OR, Pittsburgh, Boston, and DC.

The ideal band for me focuses on covers, practices about once a week and gigs an average of 4 to 6 times a month in the greater Austin area. I'm willing to do occasional remote gigs (Dallas, Houston, Corpus). I play because I enjoy music - not for financial dependency.  I'm 53 going on 35 in excellent shape, a non-smoker and a casual drinker.
